Shopping with Canon is safe. When you place an order at the Canon eStore, your credit card information is encrypted using a VeriSign Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) Certificate. Credit card information is not stored on the Canon eStore system; therefore it must be re-entered each time you place an order.

Your Canon eStore User Name and Password (Top)
For system administration purposes, your Canon eStore User ID is the email address you entered when you registered on Canon eStore. If you wish to change your email address, you can do so on the "Update Your Account Information" page, after logging into the "Your Account" page with your current User ID. Please be aware that your Canon eStore user ID will change to your new email address for future log-ins. (Note: this does not change the email address at which you receive Product News, Tips and Offers or Service Updates.)
For security, we recommend that you periodically change your Canon eStore password. To change your password, click on the "Account Info" button at the top of any page in the Canon eStore. Click on the "Change Password" link on the Account Information page to go to the Change Password page. If you have not yet logged into the store, enter your ID and password, click "Login," and you will be taken to the Account Information page. To change your password, simply type in your new password into the field provided and click "OK." Your password will then be changed.
