Canon Consumer Products Recycling Program

Canon is committed to the world community and the belief that we are building a better world for future generations. We want to work with our customers to ensure appropriate recycling of certain Canon consumer products to help improve the environment and our local communities. We are proud to announce a product recycling program to assist Canon customers in the United States in recycling these products.

The following types of Canon consumer products are eligible for recycling under the Canon Consumer Products Recycling Program. To determine if a particular model is eligible, click the Recycle Now button below.

Here's how the Consumer Products Recycling Program works:

1. Order your pre-paid UPS shipping label online by clicking the Recycle Now button. You must be able to print the label to order online. A pre-paid UPS shipping label will be sent to you via e-mail.
   
   
2. If you are not able to print the label, you can call 1-800-385-2155 to order over the phone and receive the label by mail.
   
   Customers in Alaska and Hawaii: Please call 1-800-385-2155 to purchase and receive your UPS shipping label.
   
   
3. Pricing is based on the product category shown below:
   
   
   1. $6, plus applicable sales tax – Binoculars, Camcorders, Cameras, Compact Photo Printers, Film Scanners and Video Equipment
      
      
   2. $12, plus applicable sales tax – Flatbed Scanners (CanoScan) and Bubble Jet Products: printers, multifunction all-in-ones, and fax machines
      
      
   3. $36, plus applicable sales tax – ImageCLASS Products, Laser Fax Machines and PC Copiers
      
      
4. You will need to provide the Canon model name and product serial number to place the order. Note: Only one label may be purchased per order, and labels can only be sent to addresses in the 50 United States (no APO/FPO or P.O. Boxes).
   
   
5. Pack your product for return (see Packing Instructions for details) and affix the pre-paid UPS label to the box.
   
   
6. Take the box to a UPS-designated drop-off facility anywhere in the United States. UPS drop sites can be located by visiting www.ups.com, or by calling 1-800-CALL-UPS.
   
   
7. Your product will be recycled through a licensed recycling facility in an environmentally sound manner.

Batteries and Projector Lamps are recyclable, but not through the Canon Consumer Products Recycling Program.
